Founder profile: what it needs and when a listing waits
Profile fields, the hold on free listings, and why a paid launch is not held.

What the profile needs
Open /account/founder and fill in:
- A photo, plus a one-line description of the photo
- Full name
- Title or role
- Country
- A short bio of 80 characters or more
- At least one personal link: your own website or a personal social profile. Company pages are not personal links. City and a founder story link are optional.
Free listing: waits
A free listing goes live only when both are true:
- Our badge is verified on your website.
- The owner's founder profile is complete. Until then it waits. It is not lost. When the missing part is done, it is released automatically. If its queue week has passed, it goes live in the next free-queue week and we tell you.
Paid launch: does not wait
A paid launch goes live at once, or in the week you chose, even with an incomplete profile. Same for a relaunch, the multi-site bundle, the done-for-you listing, and a free listing after you upgrade it to a paid launch. We invite you to complete the profile because it shows on your listing. It is not required.
Co-founders
Invite them from the Team section of /account/founder. A co-founder shows on the product once their own profile is complete.

- It needs our badge verified on your website and a complete founder profile. Then it is released automatically.
- Do I need to fill in my city?
- No. City and the founder story link are optional.
