How do I claim and verify my company listing?
Prove you control your company's domain to become the owner and get the Verified badge.

Start a claim
Find your listing and select "Claim", or go directly to /claim/<listing>. You'll need to prove you control the company's domain using one of these methods:
- Receive a secret link by email sent to an address at your company's domain
- Add a DNS TXT record to your root domain
- Add a meta tag to your homepage
- Upload a small verification file to your website
After you verify
Once verified, you become the listing owner (if it was unclaimed). You can then edit your listing details and receive the Verified badge, which shows visitors you control the domain.
What the badge means
The Verified badge confirms domain ownership only. It is never sold and remains separate from paid placement and votes on Alternative Biz.
If your code expires
Verification codes last 14 days. If yours expires, return to your listing and start the claim process again.
