What is the billboard and how do I join it?
The billboard is a separate paid leaderboard ranked by contributor money, not votes. You choose your contribution amount.

The billboard leaderboard
The billboard is a paid ranking at /leaderboards/billboard. It orders listings by the total money their owners have contributed, and the page clearly labels it as paid. You'll find it alongside other leaderboards on the site.
How contributions work
You set the amount in US dollars. The minimum is $5. Each new contribution adds to what your listing has already given: the board ranks by total contributed, not by single payments. Once you've contributed, you stay on the board.
How to add a contribution
To add it from your account, your listing must be live. Sign in and go to /account/listings. Find your listing and select "Upgrades and extras", then enter your amount under Billboard. You can also add it during the plan step when you first submit a listing.
Separate from votes and other rankings
The billboard is its own system. It does not affect community votes, Launch of the Week, verification status or Domain Rating. Each ranking is labelled so you know which is which. Promo codes do not reduce billboard contributions.
What the link gives you
Your company name on /leaderboards/billboard links to your own website with a followed link, never nofollow. It is there for life, whatever happens to your place in the ranking. Only two things end it: a take-down of the listing for breaking the rules, or a refund of the contribution.
Questions people ask
- Does paying for the billboard change my vote count?
- No. The billboard is separate from community voting and all other rankings on the site. Money contributed to the billboard does not buy votes or change any voting-based leaderboard.
- What's the minimum I can contribute?
- The minimum contribution is $5 in US dollars.
- Can I add more money to the billboard later?
- Yes. New contributions add to your total. The billboard ranks by the sum of all your contributions, so your position updates each time you add more.
- Is my website linked from the billboard?
- Yes. Your website is linked from the full board with a followed link for life, unless the listing is taken down for breaking our rules or the money is refunded.
