Follow any listing or founder to get their updates by email and in your account. Stop whenever you want using the same button.

Start following in one step
Every listing page and founder profile has a Follow button. Click it to get their news sent to you—no need to return to check for updates. Following is free and requires only a free account on the site.
If you're signed in, you follow immediately and the button changes to Following. If not, you'll sign in or create an account, then confirm.
What you'll receive
Followers of a listing see updates about:
- New milestones and product launches from that company
- Status changes (acquisitions, closures)
- Founder stories and demo videos
- Launch of the Week wins (#1, #2 or #3)
- New launches across sites (maximum one notice daily)
Followers of a founder only receive that founder's new stories.
Updates arrive as notices in your account and by email.
Set your notification pace
Updates come in a daily summary email by default. Change how often at /account/notifications: instantly, daily, weekly, or off. You can also add Telegram or Slack channels there.
Stop following anytime
Press the Following button on the listing or founder page to unfollow immediately. No more updates will be sent. Alternatively, turn off emails at /account/notifications and keep following.
Following doesn't count as a vote and doesn't affect a listing's vote ranking or vote count. Followers only appear on the /launches/most-followed list.

- Do I pay anything to follow someone?
- No. Following is free. You need a free account on Alternative Biz, but that's all.
- How often will I get emails?
- By default, one daily summary. Go to /account/notifications to choose instantly, weekly, off, or add Telegram and Slack.
- Does following help a listing rank higher in the vote rankings?
- No. Following doesn't affect votes or vote rankings. It only counts towards /launches/most-followed.
