Your founder story: write it, publish it, see it on your listing
Write one story per product at Account > Founder story. Co-founders each write their own.

What it is
A founder story is the story of ONE product, told by one of its founders. Co-founders do not share one story: each writes theirs. A founder of two products writes two stories.
Where to write it
Start at /account/founder/story after signing in. There is also a 'Founder story for <product>' card on each listing's profile screen in your account. For each product you see where its story stands - Not started, Draft, Published on N sites - and Write or Edit.
The editor
You write in six guided sections (How it started, The problem, What we built, The hard parts, Milestones, What's next), each with a question to answer, in the 'Founder story: <product>' editor. Autosave keeps your draft as you work. Up to 4 photos can go with the story. 'Help me word this' suggests clearer wording for what you wrote, with no new facts.
Before you publish
Before a story can be published, your founder profile at /account/founder must be complete, because the story shows your name and photo. Stories need at least 200 words across 3 sections or more, with up to 2 links and no prices or offers.
Where it shows
Publishing gives the story its own address at /launch/<listing>/story/<founder>. Founder stories belong to the full profile: a free listing shows the card locked until it becomes a paid launch. It also appears as a card on that product's listing. Readers can also reach your stories from your founder profile, which lists one per product, and from /stories.
Older stories and links
Wrote one story for all your products before? It stays on your founder profile as general text, and every new product story starts from it. Come back whenever you like, edit, and publish again. Earlier /founder/<name>/story links still take readers to your story, or to your founder profile if you wrote several.
