How it started
Neil Lock co-founded Zinn Hub with Natalie Lock, and he leads it as its CEO. As a developer, he built the marketplace's platform too. He has worked in technology for more than 25 years, building software, search and hosting.
Why it exists
Fairer freelancing is the job Zinn Hub was built to do. That means sellers who start at 0% commission and keep more of their earnings, and buyers who deal with vetted sellers and a team that answers.
What he built
Zinn Hub speaks 46 languages. Briefs, listings, messages and reviews are translated in both directions, and live calls run with captions or a translated voice. Sellers are paid instantly through their own Stripe or PayPal, and there are six ways to be paid out, crypto among them. KYC checks and vetting come before anyone sells, and platform payments are escrow-protected.
