What are profile sections and what does 'locked' mean?
Free listings lock four sections until you pay. Here's what each section contains and how to unlock them.

Sections that lock on free listings
When you launch free, these four sections appear on your profile but stay locked:
- Founder story – your background, linked from the listing to its own page.
- Milestones – timestamped events in your product's history.
- Demo video – a video link.
- Website link – shown as nofollow on free listings.
Content you add to locked sections saves immediately. As soon as you unlock them, visitors see what you wrote.
Sections that always show
Your name, tagline, description, features, category, FAQs, social links, logo, homepage screenshot, your own screenshots and comparisons are never locked. You can edit these anytime from /account/listings, whether your listing is free or paid.
How to unlock everything
Upgrade to a paid launch ($5) to open all four sections and change your website link to dofollow. Sign in, go to /account/listings, find your listing and select 'Upgrades and extras'.

- No. Locked sections save your work. They show as soon as you unlock them.
- Can I edit my name and tagline on a free listing?
- Yes. Name, tagline, description, features, category, FAQs, social links, logo, homepage screenshot, your own screenshots and comparisons are always editable from /account/listings.
- What changes when I upgrade to paid?
