Free listing or paid launch on Alternative Biz?
Compare what you get with a free listing versus a paid launch, and when to upgrade.
Updated
What comes with a free listing
A free listing gives you a basic profile on Alternative Biz. Paid sections—founder story, milestones and demo video—stay locked until you upgrade. Your screenshots and comparisons are not locked: they show on a free listing too.
Before your profile publishes, you'll need to place our badge on your website. A free listing also needs its owner's founder profile to be complete before it goes live. Your listing then enters the free queue and goes live about 1-2 weeks out.
Free listings get a nofollow link to your site. This means search engines treat the link lightly and thin free pages won't be indexed, so you won't pick up search traffic from Alternative Biz.
What you get with a paid launch
A paid launch ($5) publishes your full profile immediately, or in the week you choose. No badge is required.
Your profile unlocks all sections, and you get a dofollow link that search engines follow. Your page is open to indexing by search engines.
Adding more with paid add-ons
Add more placements with these options:
- Upgrade to a full launch, for a free listing: $5, the same price. The free listing becomes a paid launch. A paid launch chooses its week at no extra cost
- Featured placement ($19) to stand out
- Extra categories or bundles to reach different audiences
Switch anytime
You can upgrade a free listing to a paid launch at any time. Visit /account/listings to make the change.
